LONG-DISTANCE LEARNING IN THE GLOBALZEDWORLD: CONTEMPORARY TENDENCIES AND EXPERIENCE OF THEIR IMPLEMENTATION

The article is dedicated to the challenges of implementation of long-distance learningin the contemporary globalized education space. The article analyzes the theoretical groundsand contemporary tendencies of long-distance learning, represents practical experience of itsimplementation during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Ukrainian and international educationalpractice. The efficient asynchronous instruments for online learning have been revealed and thepositive features of long-distance education for realization of competence and customized student-oriented education have been defined. We see the prospect of further research in theoretical andtechnological development of the issue of forming information and communication competence aswell as implementation of long-distance learning in the system of education of Ukraine.
