Abstract
The article describes the theoretical and practical aspects of school education in the context of humanization. The essence, leading ideas of humanistic learning theory and the features of its implementation have been identified. The view that the purpose of education should be the development of the human personality and its growth, in preference to quantitative indicators of learning outcomes substantiates, which greatly increases the intellectual achievement and preparing students for making their contribution in society. Also, article judgment confirmed that learning is most effective when it coincides with the natural tendency of human learning, growth, and harmonious personality. Analysis of the theory of humanization of school education made it possible to reveal its nature and purpose. The paper supported the assertion of compliance with the learning process with the theory of humanistic education, that is, education should focus on human development and personal growth. Whereas in accordance with humanistic learning theory, people have a natural tendency to learn, grow and develop fully. Established, that the learning process gives significantly better results when it is combined with a natural human characteristic. Substantiated, that activity is related to humanistic studies when it is properly implemented. Thus it can support and enhance all forms of academic education. The article also provides a general sense of Humanistic Learning Theory aspects, what it might contain; the category of humanization of education is opened from point of view of foreign scientists. Two overriding tenets described in the article: first, the goal of education should be human development and personal growth, focused on these will naturally increase intellectual achievement and prepare pupils to contribute to global as well as local societies. The second tent is that human nature is basically built in the way that humans have a natural inclination to learn, to grow, and develop fully. The paper following the opinion that education is most effective when it aligns with this natural inclination.
