Abstract

The development of knowledge from different areas, achievements in literature and art, technology is inextricably linked to a particular historical epoch and are enevitable for the prominent personalities who are the creators of knowledge and achievements. Therefore, pupils’ historical knowledge and insight are organically combined with the knowledge of facts, theories, laws of science and manifestations of a certain age in other industries. The table is a means of overcoming the fragmentation of knowledge on various subjects, providing increased reflection in learning. We consider that an important didactic function of the synchronized table is to integrate knowledge acquired by the pupils in the process of getting compulsory secondary education. The synchronized table summarizes information about the outstanding discoveries in chemistry, biology, physics, astronomy, geography, against the backdrop of the most important facts of the world history and the history of art and literature. The table is designed according to the current training programs on various subjects for the secondary schools. It will be useful to teachers in order to develop the pupils’ holistic view of the historic day when a discovery in the natural sciences took place during the integrated lessons, discussions, seminars, educational problematic situations of pupils’ project activities as well as reference. Table can be used for the pupils’ research activities during the development of educational projects or the historical specification of other researched topics.
