Abstract
The authors of the article conducted a comparative analysis and explored the features of the organization of museum-pedagogical activities in higher educational institutions in the context of online learning.
It was determined that the potential opportunities and conditions for the application of elements of museum pedagogy in the context of digitalization and computerization of education and implementation of virtual educational technologies using the example of museum studies specialties. The authors characterized multifunctional cultural and educational portals, educational platforms with online services for organizing multi-vector museum and pedagogical activities.
Among the goals of museum-pedagogical activities, the authors highlight the possibilities of creating new perspectives for the representation, comprehension and creative use of the material of various academic disciplines in the educational process.
Based on conducting empirical research into determining the motivation and adaptation of students of museology specialties to the conditions of online learning in a pandemic, the authors concluded the need for widespread use of online learning in the educational process.
