Abstract

The article analyzes and deepens the theoretical aspects of modernization of the activity of educational managers of vocational education institutions, taking into account the needs of inclusion. It is determined that the education manager is an educational leader who is characterized by critical thinking and cognitive flexibility, able at the level of professionalism through strategic actions to turn the goal into a positive result of the educational institution. It is revealed that modernization of the activity of educational managers of vocational education institutions taking into account the needs of inclusion is focused on improving the quality, ensuring the availability of vocational education and ensuring successful socialization of children, resulting in a competent highly qualified worker. It is proved that the basic levels of improving the professional activity of educational managers of vocational education institutions are the formation of inclusive culture, development of inclusive policy and implementation of inclusive practice. The formation of an inclusive culture of the education manager should strengthen his/her general culture, enrich methodological activities with new approaches, diversify pedagogical practices and thus improve pedagogical and organizational practice of the institution, which increases everyone's participation, the educational process is combined with community development, social partners, stakeholders, etc. The opinion is substantiated that the development of inclusive policy requires from the education manager the ability to navigate the laws and principles of a market economy and its impact on the educational process of persons with disabilities; have the theory and practice of modern management; successfully combine forms and methods of motivation; perfectly master the current legislation. The introduction of inclusive practice involves the creation of an inclusive educational environment in vocational education institutions. The main guidelines for modernizing the activities of educational managers of vocational education institutions, taking into account the needs of inclusion, are a qualitatively new level of competencies, a comprehensive solution to the problems of the educational process of an inclusive environment, a high level of professionalism.
