Abstract
The article analyzes the legislative and regulatory documents, which set out the principles of implementation of academic integrity and a set of measures to prevention and detect of academic plagiarism cases in Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University. The discipline "Academic Integrity and Antiplagiarism" is introduced for the training of specialists – Doctors of Philosophy (PhD), which determines the acquisition of theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities to resist the conflict of interest, primarily to eliminate risk factors and errors in ensuring academic integrity and professional communication between scientific, scientific-pedagogical staff and applicants for higher education. In 2018-2020, 5535 primary anti-plagiarism tests in Danylo Halytskyi Lviv National Medical University were performed and 611 (11.04%) scientific and educational-methodical works were rejected. The main reasons for the rejection were text replications noted by the software. The anti-plagiarism software used for the examination of scientific works in Internet, local networks and the university repository are analyzed. It is stated that the implementation of the principles of academic integrity and ensuring high professional standards, prevention of plagiarism in all spheres of activity (educational, scientific, educational, upbringing, etc.) are the key principles of ensuring adequate academic relations.
