Abstract
The authors of the article analyze the features of preparing bachelors of museology on the basis of the newly created integrated educational program on the basis of the Pedagogical College of Ivan Franko Lviv National University. This program involves the interdisciplinary nature of teaching and applying modern didactic approaches (problem-oriented, cooperative learning, research-based learning); integrates various fields of humanitarian knowledge in the system of interaction between education and culture, the centers of realization of which are museum institutions, outlines the wide opportunities for employment of graduates.
In addition, this program logically combines the soundness of the didactic process in college with innovative techniques characteristic of the faculties, as well as the work of a teacher, methodologist, cultural scientist, guide, museum educator.
They determine the priority areas of pedagogical interaction with students in the process of organizing training and features of their interdisciplinary development. The article focuses on the role of museum pedagogy in this process as a modern educational technology and effective communication organization system.
Museum pedagogy contributes to the interdisciplinary training of future professionals on a powerful educational platform, taking into account modern techniques; creates opportunities for a broad integration of education and culture within the proposed disciplines; enables a constant connection of theory and practice in the sense of organizing and conducting regular classes with students in museums; provides for mutual multilateral communication between the educational establishment and the students with the museum space for successful socialization; provides synthesis of various scientific educational concepts and pedagogical technologies aimed at actualization of cultural heritage.
The authors conducted an empirical study regarding the motivation and adaptation of students to the conditions of study at the Pedagogical College.
