Abstract
The article presents the model of formation of managerial competence of the head of the institution of professional education. Theoretical substantiation of the models of development of managerial competence of the head of the educational institution is carried out. The structural components of the model of forming the managerial competence of the head of the institution of professional education (motivational, managerial, economic, scientific, pedagogical, psychological, legal, personal qualities) are analyzed and summarized, reflecting the main directions of development of managerial competence. The factors of formation of managerial competence of the head of the institution of professional education are taken into account: external – requirements of the education market (implementation of labor market queries, orientation of education for integration into the European system of education, reforming education in general); organizational and pedagogical conditions (creation of appropriate conditions of formation, which include forms, methods, principles of training); internal ones depend on the personality characteristics of the head of a professional educational institution. Approaches (systemic, andragogical, activity, professional, cultural) to building a model are structured. The attention is paid to the organizational and pedagogical conditions, because their quality and expediency directly affects the quality of the formation of managerial competence of the head of the institution of professional education. It is noted that the multifaceted structure of the model of the formation of the managerial competence of the head of the institution of professional education will provide the necessary level of managerial competence in the activity that should be inherent in the head of the institution of professional education. Also, the model of managerial competence covers primarily the common values, social norms, the establishment of business cooperation, which is made by the team of the institution and regulates the behavior of subjects of the educational process. The expediency of using the model of managerial competence of the head of the institution of professional education in the system of management activity and the importance of its influence on improvement and increment the professionalism of the heads of institutions of professional education.
