Abstract

The junior school children’s ability to learn is polymotivated. The dynamics of the motivation is predetermined by both the age and the individual peculiarities of the children’s attitude to the academic cognition, the formation of the general readiness to learn as well as by the influence of the environment of the class and the family. The didactic conditions for the successful formation of the pupils’ positive motivation to learn were defined; they are the following: the guarantee of the subjectivity of the pupils’ position, the humanization of the academic interrelations, the differentiation of the organizational forms of teaching such as the justified assessment, the proper academic and entertaining environment, the emotionality and the problematic content as well as the methodology of teaching.
