Abstract
The article is devoted to the topical didactic linguistic and didactic problem, namely, the scientific specification of the modern methodology of teaching the Ukrainian Language, the determination of the key features of the personalityoriented, the competence, and the activity-based approaches that must be taken into consideration in the development process, the branches of the work on the fulfilment of the tasks of four content lines, the selection of the principles, the methods, and the teaching ways, the improvement of the structure of the Ukrainian language lesson. The author demonstrates the prospects for the research issue, as well.
