Abstract

The article deals with the complex and actual problem of social cooperation in the national system of general secondary education, the solution of which will contribute to the development of education in Ukraine. The author focuses on the theoretical and methodological principles of social cooperation between the main participants and interested parties on the successful implementation of the educational process in the Ukrainian school: teachers (pedagogues), students and their families, community representatives, employers, state authorities and local self-government. The author introduces for scientific use the definition of the concept of “social cooperation in the system of general secondary education”, which is interpreted as a system of specific social relations, which is voluntarily and purposefully established between participants in the educational process in institutions of general secondary education, other interested physical and legal persons, on purpose of joint definition, discussion, coordination of their educational needs and interests, implementation of them in joint activities (provided by the parties’ agreements, plans, programs, projects etc.). Levels (state, regional, community, institution, teacher) and organizational forms (event, program of events, project, public organization) of social cooperation in the system of general secondary education are outlined and substantiated. The subjects are selected and characterized, the component composition of the indicated activity (its goals, content, stages, means, results) is considered. The functional purpose, set of external manifestations of social cooperation in the system of general secondary education, which will influence its development (motivational, informational and educational, social-legal (protective), intermediary, communicative, diagnostic, designing, preventive, educational-transformative, educational, developmental, control and other functions of the mentioned cooperation). Prospects for further research on this problem are related to the development of tools and determining the state of social cooperation in the system of general secondary education, as well as the creation, experimental testing and implementation of the methodology of training the subjects of educational activities for the implementation of this cooperation.
