Abstract
The article focuses on pharmaceutical education, a discussion of general educational requirements for bachelor’s and master’s students of pharmacy, as well as some issues of the career to engage in after receiving a degree. The concept of preparedness for professional activity of pharmacy students is defined, and the criteria for the formation of preparedness for professional activity of pharmacy specialists are highlighted. The main characteristics that are needed to become a future pharmacist are analyzed. Pedagogical conditions for the formation of readiness for the professional activity of future pharmacists are substantiated, and the role of student-centered learning in quality training of future pharmacy specialists in higher education is emphasized.
