Abstract
This article presents a general comparison of the curriculums in Library and Information Science at Kyiv Borys Hrinchenko University and at The University of Denver, in particular at The Morgridge College of Education. The aim of the article is to show the main differences and similarities between Ukrainian and American library professional training according to the four following criterion such as: academic degrees, forms of academic instruction, information science integration, and the LIS curriculum (content of the education.
