Abstract
In the article, the controversial tendencies in the competence approach implementation in the school education are studied. The searches for the theoretical fundamentals of this problem as an objective education orientation are analyzed; the pupils’ academic achievements are evaluated from the aspect of the formation of their key and subject competences. A special attention is paid to the practical implementation of the competence approach that is predetermined by the insufficient merhodologies of the academic results assessment that must coincide with the pupil’s experience in their practical use. The necessity to enlarge the variative characteristics of the academic results that were oriented at the specific kinds of subject activities as well as the representation of these lay-outs in the education legislative basis were specified.
