ECOLOGICALLY DIRECTED RESEARCHES OF GEOMORPHOLOGICAL OBJECTS IN STUDY OF GEOGRAPHY COURSE IN BASIC SCHOOL

Abstract

Intensive economic activity and uncareful use of natural resources resulted in global changes of the environment that surrounds a human. For the sake of the comfort environment for life in the future, it is necessary to educate in children thrifty attitude toward nature. One of such directions there are the ecologically directed researches of various geomorphological objects on the territory of Ukraine. In the article the value of regional researches of geomorphological objects on the example of study of school course of geography is grounded. The analysis of ecological geomorphology as a separate scientific direction is carried out. Ecogeomorphology is a new industry of geomorphology, which studies the ways to clean the Earth and other planets and processes of their formation within ecological positions, under the corner of estimation of their influence on a human, biota, natural, economic and technical objects and systems. Description of geomorphological objects taking into account their ecological state is given. Zakarpattia lowland, Podilski Tovtry, Myzotskii ridge and Donetsk ridge were considered in the article. The value of excursions in the school course of natural science, geography and in extracurricular work is described. The ability of children to track the dependence between the features of different types of geomorphology structures, by their influence on formation of various negative processes on their surface, and also by influence of economic activity, helps young researchers to be better oriented in the environment. Influence of excursions on forming of careful attitude toward the natural environment is analyzed.
