Abstract

The article deals with the issues connected with the usage of educational resources by the cadets of higher military educational establishments in their studying of social sciences. It is observed that nowadays the military forces of Ukraine suffer a great shortage of qualified human resources. Its training is being conducted under the pressure of time and informational factors of hybrid war. The study found that while getting ready for classes the cadets primarily use Internet resources, neglecting educational resources of the library. The current circumstances are the result of the growing amount of information and simplification of access to informational resources of the web due to the wide spread of wireless technologies on the one hand, and the increase in volume of the material that the future officer must master in the shortest time possible on the other hand. The simplicity of information obtaining online leads to irresponsible and flippant attitude to it. The cadets usually use the material found without any validity check, mainly not even learning the essence of it, instantly trusting the information they found. According to the author, thoughtless, non-critical, not controlled by the tutor usage of informational resources of the Internet in the process of cadet studying may have a negative impact on the formation of the view of the world and reality as well as on morals of the future officers.
